Our Infant Program provides developmentally appropriate learning activities in an enriched learning environment. Children learn at their own pace through play and activities and are given the opportunity to explore their surroundings and practice their fine and gross motor skills through a variety of hands-on activities.
Our staff are experienced, dedicated and loving individuals with First Aid, CPR and AED training who have all completed and obtained a criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screening. At least one of the classroom teachers is a Registered Early Childhood Educator. The teacher to child ratio in the infant room, is 1:3.
The Infant Program includes the following:
free play with classroom materials
small group play and guided activities (books, drama, art, music)
circle time
meal times (2 snacks and lunch provided by the in-house cook from rotating seasonal menus)
nap time with a separate sleep room and individual crib for each child
sensory/creative activities
outdoor play/stroller walk
monthly cooking lessons
daily parent report
