Our Toddler Program provides an environment with age-appropriate materials that are stimulating and challenging for the children, allowing them to learn freely on their own and at their own pace. Toddlers are given the opportunity to explore, experiment and discover with hands-on experiences through creative, fine motor and gross motor activities.
Our staff are experienced, dedicated and loving individuals with First Aid, CPR and AED training who have all completed and obtained a criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screening. At least one of the classroom teachers is a Registered Early Childhood Educator. The teacher to child ratio in the toddler room, is 1:5 for the majority of the day. During the first 90 minutes of the day, rest time and the last 60 minutess of the day, the ratio is 1:8.
